A garden seems familiar and constant – yet it is in perpetual flux. Light changes, plants grow, colors disappear and return. The same place is never truly the same at any given time.
The Garden embraces this mutability. Slit-scan transforms the seemingly fixed space into a temporal state: forms begin to flow, colors detach from one another and recombine. Perhaps therein lies something of the essence of a garden – that it remains and yet is constantly changing.
