Better Together

Better Together emerged from the encounter of two artistic works. Sculptures by a friend, an artist, became the starting point for my own visual language and were transformed into a new form through slit scanning. I am less interested in the translation of a work into another medium than in the dialogue that arises from it. The sculpture remains the starting point, but movement and time open up a second perception. Something independent emerges – and at the same time, the connection to the original work is maintained.
