Getting There

The magic of soap bubbles: iridescent, light, fleeting. For a moment, they seem like small worlds – beautiful and fleeting at the same time. This experience gives rise to Transient Worlds.
These are not classic bubbles, but fragile soap mirrors framed in a ring of barbed wire and captured in high-resolution macro photography. In each work, a window opens into another dimension: vibrating fields of color, organic structures, landscapes that seem to consist of memories or dreams. The fragile skin of these structures meets a rough boundary – and their fragility becomes all the more apparent. What would otherwise disintegrate in seconds is preserved here: a luminous moment between dissolution and duration.
